The event brought together farmers, tire dealers, and industry experts from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg to explore the latest advancements in farm tire technology and their impact on soil health, farming efficiency, and sustainability.

The field day featured a series of hands-on demonstrations designed to highlight the critical role of tire technology and tire pressure in modern farming. Attendees had the opportunity to witness firsthand how Alliance’s innovative tire solutions, including the Alliance Agriflex+ 363 for Row Crop, Alliance Agriflex+ 372, and Agri Star ll, can improve soil preservation, reduce fuel consumption, and enhance overall farm productivity.

How Tire Technology Saves Soil

Visitors experienced the impact of tire technology and tire pressure on soil firsthand through a series of field demonstrations. Key highlights included:

• Soil Compaction and Footprint Demo: demonstrations showcased the difference in soil compaction between high-pressure and low-pressure tires. Attendees observed how Alliance VF (Very High Flexion) tires, with their larger footprints, minimise soil compaction, improve water permeability, and ultimately contribute to higher yields.

• Slippage and Traction Demo: This demo illustrated how proper tire pressure and VF technology reduce slippage, optimise traction, and save energy, resulting in more efficient fieldwork.

• Tire Pressure Demo: Participants learned the importance of correct tire pressure settings and how they impact tire longevity, fuel efficiency, and work speed. Attendees even had the chance to measure and adjust tire pressures themselves, gaining practical insights into tire management.

Showcasing Alliance’s Cutting-Edge Tire Solutions

The field day also featured a range of cutting-edge agricultural machinery equipped with Alliance tires, including the 363+ Row Crop Dual, Agriflex 372+, and Agri Star ll. These tires demonstrated their real-world benefits, from reduced soil impact to improved traction in challenging conditions. Additionally, other tires from the Alliance brand were put on display by partners Heuver Tyres and Zuid West Banden, who also showcased a flotation system.

To celebrate this milestone, a special Agri Star II tire will be painted in gold and suspended from a crane, serving as a striking centerpiece during the event.
