Alliance, a leading global brand of agricultural and off-highway tires, hosted an engaging and hands-on Field Day on October 7, 2025, at the Provana Innovation Center in Izano, Italy. The event brought together farmers, tire dealers, and industry professionals from across Italy to explore the impact of tire pressure and advanced tire technology on efficiency, fuel consumption, and sustainable farming practices. Alliance is a brand of Yokohama-ATG, celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
Field Demonstrations: Focus on Fuel Efficiency and Tire Performance
The Field Day featured a series of live demonstrations designed to show the measurable benefits of correct tire pressure and innovative Alliance technologies. Attendees witnessed how optimised tire setups can lead directly to significant fuel savings, improving farm profitability while protecting the soil.
The performance data were collected using an advanced monitoring system supplied by Provana Group Innovation. This technology acquires operational parameters directly from the machines CAN bus and, through integrated GPS tracking and telemetry, enables real-time monitoring and data recording for detailed analysis.

Two different Alliance tire solutions were at the heart of the demonstrations, each addressing specific farmer needs:

Scientific Results: Real-World Fuel Savings Confirmed
A highlight of the day was the presentation of real-world fuel consumption figures, measured by the Provana Group using a John Deere 6250R tractor and showing Alliance’s Agri Star II and Agriflex+ 373 VF tires at different pressures and in various working conditions:
In the field, at 5 km/h and 2 bar pressure:
Agri Star II: 31.95 l/h
Agriflex+ 373: 29.38 l/h
Fuel saved: 2.57 l/h
In the field, at 5 km/h and 1 bar pressure:
Agri Star II: 33.73 l/h
Agriflex+ 373: 27.14 l/h
Fuel saved: 6.59 l/h
On the road, 25 km/h, 2 bar:
Agri Star II: 12.23 l/h
Agriflex+ 373: 12.08 l/h
Fuel saved: 0.15 l/h
On the road, 25 km/h, 1 bar:
Agri Star II: 16.08 l/h
Agriflex+ 373: 14.53 l/h
Fuel saved: 1.55 l/h
These results demonstrate that simply by choosing the right Alliance tire and optimizing tire pressure, farmers can achieve fuel savings of up to 6.6 liters per hour in the field—a substantial improvement for both profitability and sustainability.

“Astonishing results”
Alliance presented real-world consumption figures with their tires at the right pressures for the first time, as Massimo Mori, Alliance Country Manager Italy, Israel, Greece, Cyprus, North Macedonia, notes. “The results were astonishing” he says.
Agostino Provana, Owner of Provana Group, confirms: “Alliance’s flagship tires achieved excellent results.” The tests confirmed higher performance and lower fuel consumption. “We are delighted to have hosted Alliance for this event and to share the same vision of innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in the agricultural sector.”
A Commitment to Supporting Farmers
Alliance’s Field Day in Izano reinforced the company’s ongoing mission to provide practical, hands-on evidence of how the right tire choice and correct inflation can reduce costs, improve machine efficiency, and protect the environment. By bringing together technology, demonstrations, and technical expertise, Alliance empowers farmers to select the right solutions for their operations.

Looking Ahead: Meet Alliance at Agritechnica
Alliance will continue to showcase its latest innovations at Agritechnica 2025 in Hannover, Germany, November 9–15. Visitors can discover Alliance’s full range of advanced tire solutions in Hall 4, Stand C29.
